WOODMONT COUNTRY CLUB TAMARAC, FL
CHALLENGE
The Woodmont Country Club, a semi-private club in Tamarac, Florida was facing roadblocks in receiving approvals from the city of Tamarac to replace an aging facility with a new clubhouse. The city was skeptical that the club would be a success in the community.
INSIGHT
The owner of Woodmont was looking for an outside expert to prepare a market plan and provide a long term financial pro forma on the new club.
ACTIVATION
Three Oaks provided ownership with a market and financial plan and presented the plan to city officials. The city had the owner hire a forensic accounting team to study Three Oak’s report. The forensic accountants agreed with Three Oaks and made no changes to the plan.
RESULTS
The city of Tamarac approved the club and today the new clubhouse is being completed and the golf course is open to play. Three Oaks is continuing with sales and marketing for the club.
